White Chocolate Mocha Starbucks Copycat

Equipment

  • 1 Small saucepan

Ingredients
  

  • 50 g white chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 1 shot of espresso I used a Starbucks Nespresso pod
  • 100 ml whole milk or any alternative
  • Whipped cream
  • Decorations - white choc stars & pink hearts optional

Instructions
 

  • Melt the white chocolate chips and coconut oil in a small saucepan on a low heat (or in a microwave in short ten second bursts). Stir as it melts until a creamy sauce consistency has been achieved. 
  • Make your espresso as you normally do and pour into the mug you'll be using. I used a starbucks Nespresso pod in my Nespresso machine. Meanwhile, froth or steam your milk as you usually would. I used my Lavazza A Modo Mio frother. 
  • Pour in the chocolate sauce and stir until all the lumps are gone. 
  • Once steamed or frothed, pour the milk  foam over your coffee. 
  • Top with whipped cream and decorations if you wish! Enjoy!
